The second annual All-media National Juried Exhibition was held in June 2007. The exhibition was open to any artists living in the United States. Finalists were awarded $1,000 in prizes, in addition to merit and cash awards. The “Best in Show” won a spot in the 2007-2008 exhibition season.

Cynthia Hollis is Director of Art Exhibitions and Programs at The Brogan Museum in Tallahassee. Her area of expertise is contemporary art. Hollis has curated numerous exhibits, including AfroProvocations; Currency: Art As Money/Money As Art; Hello Cuba: Breaking Barriers. She has published several papers on art and ecology and Latin American art, including Dewey, Darwin and Democracy: Thoughts on Progress and Meaning in Education, University of Havana Press, and Art and Ecology: Putting the ‘M’ back in (M)other Nature, Official Press of the Cuban Ministry of Culture. She is currently writing a book on Cuban Art since 1989.
